Grow your Business Organically and Meet the Challenges of the Current Marketplace.

Apprenticeships deliver real returns to your bottom line. In a recent survey, the majority of employers said that apprenticeships helped them to improve productivity and to be more competitive. They also said that training apprentices is more cost-effective than hiring pre-skilled staff, leading to lower overall training and recruitment costs.

Motivate your workforce

Apprentices tend to be eager, motivated, flexible and loyal to the company that invested in them. Remember, an apprentice is with you because they want to be – they have made an active choice to learn on the job and a commitment to a specific career.

Fill your skills gaps

Apprenticeships deliver skills designed around your business needs. They also help you develop the specialist skills you need to keep pace with the latest technology and working practices in your sector. Employers in the populous survey said they relied on their Apprenticeship Programmes to provide the skilled workers they need for the future.

The old perception of apprenticeships only being for school leavers who learn manual skills is gone, and the opportunity to recruit and train in professional areas is increasing. With university fees increasing many bright young school leavers are seriously considering apprenticeships as a positive and productive option.

Get support and get started

We have made it easy for you to start Apprenticeship Programmes in your business. Our dedicated employer service teams will support you from first enquiry to completion. We will support and guide you to identify the correct apprenticeships for your business and, if necessary, tailor the training to meet your needs.

Where does the training take place?

This is up to you. Most of the apprenticeships will be delivered ‘on the job’ at your premises. The rest will be provided by one of our partner colleges.

What are my responsibilities as an employer?

You must give your apprentices an induction into their role and provide on-the-job training. You are also responsible for paying your apprentices’ wage.

 Can I get funding?

Yes. Apprenticeship funding is available through our colleges. The amount of the funding varies depending on your sector and the age of the candidate. If the apprentice is aged 16-21, you will receive 100% of the cost of the training; if they are 22+ you will be asked to make a contribution to the training costs.

 Why use us?

We only work with the top providers in the country, who have a proven track record and excellent success rates. We offer tailored pre-apprenticeship training and screening which means you get and keep the best applicants for your positions.
